BLU SAFFRON RESTAURANT

Hank van Heteren, Mike Ford, Peter Blokker and their experienced staff have opened the Blu Saffron Restaurant at the Pretoria Country Club on 1 May 2008. This exciting restaurant is beautiful and its location is one of the best in Pretoria, with its security and tranquility. Blu Saffron caters to the public as well as to the members of the Pretoria Country Club. Members enjoy a 15% discount on all food and beverages.

Blu Saffron has 4 private dining rooms. Two lounges, a bar and a main dining area have been additionally created. An outside patio with couches, tables and chairs overlooking the 1st tee and beautiful golf course. A comprehensive menu is available. Daily specialties are also available: Fresh oysters are delivered every Wednesday and Friday and fresh fish is delivered on a daily basis. Bookings Essential.

GRAND LOUNGE

The Grand Lounge has a lovely parquet floor and big glass windows that has a view on the gardens. The Lounge can accommodate approximately 90 guests.

MARDI GRAS

The Mardi Gras is mostly used for conferences and golf days and opens up to a small courtyard area and can accommodate about 120-140 guests.

THE BALLROOM

The Ballroom is a stunning old fashioned sprung floor venue with crystal chandeliers and a verandah that opens up onto a grass area. This venue can accommodate up to 240 guests without a dance floor, or 200 guests with a dance floor.

THE PAVILION

The Pavilion at the Pretoria Country Club is a fully operational sports bar featuring a spectacular view over the finishing greens of a beautiful 18 hole course. Friendly service, small and effective pub style menu and a great atmosphere is all you need to unwind. The Terrace at the Pavilion is a seperate dining area for the more special occasion or secluded dining experience. Look out for the Sunday Lunch Menu’s in the Pavilion.

Did you know...

One of the hidden gems at Pretoria Country Club is its beautiful dam. Not only is it a tranquil getaway and the perfect spot to blow off some steam, but it is also stocked with fish, and BIG ones too! .

"In an attempt to stay with worldwide trends and reiterate one of PCC's strategic focus areas regarding the involvement of families with club life, we have kicked off the year by adding a spectacular kids play ground area for your PCC youngsters" says Dawid Muller PCC Chairman.

Muller says that Clubs that have stringent dress codes and overbearing rules, meant families were often going elsewhere for lunches, drinks and dinner. We have relaxed our dress code to a large extent but still respect the traditions of the game. Especially on Friday evenings families are able to enjoy our tranquil environment by not worrying too much about golf club attire. By creating an environment where our kids can play whilst parents enjoy a drink and meal at the Pavilion, we trust that PCC will remain one of your more popular destinations for family entertainment.
